Brytni Sarpy grew up in Southern California and became interested in acting after playing a witch in a high school performance of the Scottish play. Having completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting at the University of California Santa Barbara, Brytni was cast in numerous mainstage and local productions, earning acclaim for both her comedic sensibilities and dramatic range.
 
Her notable theater background includes co-starring as Hero in Shakespeare Santa Barbara's "Much Ado About Nothing," where the Santa Barbara Independent hailed her "graceful portrayal of the wronged bride"; originating the role of Beth in Barbara LeBow's original production "Plumfield, Iraq"; and as beleaguered Joan Helford in J.B. Priestley's "Time and the Conways," a supporting role that earned her kudos for her "nuance and gusto" (Santa Barbara Independent).She is also a trained dancer, and has studied in workshops with Bill Irwin, Sage Parker, and director Tina Landau.


Brytni is currently playing Valerie Spencer on ABC's General Hospital. She also recently guest starred as Bab's on Fox's 6th season of New Girl. Brytni can be seen on The Syfy Channel starring in director Nick Simon's horror feature film,Truth or Dare, which will also make its film festival debut at the inaugural Mammoth Film Festival this February.

Brytni's most notable commercial and print work includes: Bank of America, Nike, NIke Running, Adidas, Just Fab, Yahoo, AT&T, Intel,  New Balance, Famous Footwear, Hewlett Packard. With ad campaigns for "A sweet touch of hope" for the American Cancer Society, the Simon Youth Foundation,Seventeen magazines "stop bullying" campaign, and Susan G. Komen's Breast Cancer Awareness with both New Balance and Rastaclat. Brytni cares as much about her craft as she does about giving back and volunteers with Art of Elysium, Goodwill Socal, Operation Blankets of love, and Breast Cancer Awareness.
